Ummm, can't wait to try this one. My mom must have not had this recipe back in the 50's. I love coming to your place...it takes me right back to some of the best years of my life. Hope your day is just wonderful!! xo bj
My mom's ham loaf is one of my favorite foods ever. We still beg her to make it. This is slightly different than her recipe, but I'm sure it would have a similar taste. Now I want my mom to cook for me!
I remember this dish! Leave it to an old recipe to have brown sugar in it! Most of the 'young-uns' don't know how good something like this can be! Splenda be darned!
As a lover of all things vintage, I write about our cottage home, inspirational decorating, vintage finds, thrifty buys, and old-time recipes. I have many additional interests such as reading, writing, blogging, arts and crafts, and quilting...I write about these interests as well as about family, friends, shelties, nature and hobbies.

Oh my goodness...my Hubby's Momma makes this recipe! I'd never had it before until I married him in 1978! She is still quite the cook!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing~ I'm still loving that picture of your Momma on the steps of the church! Can't get over it...
Love to you~

Wow--doesn't THAT sound good! MmmmmMMmmmm....
ReplyDeleteI adore Hamloaf! It's my birthday food every year(my hubby can't stand it so he will indulge me only once a year). Thanks for the great recipe!
