Good Morning Sweetie... I so love finding these old recipes. They always turn out to be the best. I will have to try this one out. Bet it is scrumptous.
How's my little critter friend? Better I hope. I have been saying some prayers. The older they get the more frail they get. They just don't know they aren't puppies anymore, and don't know how to slow down.
Have a beautiful day sweetie. Country hugs and so much love, Sherry
Y'know, we live very close to Amish country in NE Indiana, and I've always wondered just what was IN a shoofly pie. It's been served many times when we eat at an Amish restaurant, but, we go the safe route and get pecan!
As a lover of all things vintage, I write about our cottage home, inspirational decorating, vintage finds, thrifty buys, and old-time recipes. I have many additional interests such as reading, writing, blogging, arts and crafts, and quilting...I write about these interests as well as about family, friends, shelties, nature and hobbies.
I love these old recipes!!!

OK, I admit it. I sang the song. Shoofly don't bother me, Shoofly don't bother me...
ReplyDeleteMy husband has actually ordered this in a few southern restaurants. He loves it!
