I'm a little behind on my reading, so I read 3 recipes at once. My favorite is the peach pie, how simple. I have a peach custard pie recipe that is similar, but you pour and egg/cream mixture over the top. Your recipe is so easy, I think I'll have to try it. The onion pie would be delicious, but we don't do onions here and today's cake...sounds good!
I love all these recipes. Someday I am going to box up a bunch of my old cookbooks and send them to you. Although I suspect you already have an out of control collection!
I like this one. I am going to grab it and give it a try. The knight is here and he thinks it sounds like a fine idea also. Thank you for posting these for us! Blessings to you this week, Cherie
As a lover of all things vintage, I write about our cottage home, inspirational decorating, vintage finds, thrifty buys, and old-time recipes. I have many additional interests such as reading, writing, blogging, arts and crafts, and quilting...I write about these interests as well as about family, friends, shelties, nature and hobbies.

ReplyDeleteThis sounds good, but I am almost scared to try it after Josh and the peach pie!
