I made this decades ago. It actually does taste something like apple pie. My true favorite was called Ritz Cracker Pie and was made with the crackers, nuts and egg whites. I have that recipe somewhere. My mom made it for my birthday every year.

I don't make this often, but I love to tell people afterward that it was not apples they just ate! :-D
ReplyDeleteI've got this recipe, but I've never tried it. I think you can also make pecan pie using grape nuts.
