  2. I wonder what the ladies from 1950 would think if they knew where their words ended up. Things have certainly come a long way.

  3. I remember 1950 well. I did a little cooking then. I was a young teenager, but I loved to bake, having learned it in homemaking at school. A friend and I made dinner about that time one night for her family and one night for mine. It was fun. I loved the 50s.
I'm glad you shared on Spiritual Sundays. Have a great day.

  5. Hi Coralie,
These are just great. The last one is the very first grace I learned as a child. Thank you for sharing.
    Blessings,

  7. How fun Coralie,
My first visit here for the post today. I think I need to take a break from the others and stay here awhile.
    I loved your post.

  9. Hi Coralie,
I said similar prayers at the dinner table when I was a chld in the 50's...wonderful years. If I could give my children and grandchildren anything at all, it would be a week of living in the 50's...I am so thankful that God chose to bring me into this world in the 40's, so I could be a kid in the 50's and a teen in the 60's...the best of times, as far as I'm concerned!

    God bless,
    Mary
