Absolutely, less sugar. I usually make cucumber salad with 1 TBS vinegar and 1TBS sugar. But with the same amount of sourcream or equal amounts of sour cream and yogurt. I add fresh dill too. Eat it as is or serve on a big bed of lettuce & little tomatoes. Topped with feta cheese it's a one dish meal. Yum. Oh, since I am in California, of course one needs a slice of sourdough bread to mop up the dressing. YUM

I've always loved cucumbers this way. I think I'll make this for dinner tonight.
ReplyDeleteYes with onions!
ReplyDeleteIs there any way to reduce the sugar? With equal amounts of sugar and cucumber, I'd be tempted to call this 'Sugar Salad'! ;)
