I read the list of ingredients and thought it would probably be good. After reading the instructions, I think this could be very pretty and good. This one is "old-fashioned" but wouldn't it be a fun salad for a spring luncheon with the grapefruit "flower" on top.
I am saving this one for when Doug comes home. He adores grapefruit and has not been able to eat any for 6 months due to a medication he is on. When he comes home in October he can eat it again, this will be a huge surprise for him.
As a lover of all things vintage, I write about our cottage home, inspirational decorating, vintage finds, thrifty buys, and old-time recipes. I have many additional interests such as reading, writing, blogging, arts and crafts, and quilting...I write about these interests as well as about family, friends, shelties, nature and hobbies.

ReplyDeleteOh, this would be great as I love grapefruit, cherries and all. Sounds very vintage and delicious!
ReplyDeleteSounds delicious! :) This would be great to cool you down on a warm spring day.
ReplyDeleteHad me until the mayo, but otherwise sounds good.
