Mmmm. I have those ingredients at home! Boiling the brocoli for 15 minutes seems a long time. I live in broccoli and brussel sprout country where we love all dente. I think this would be delicious if the broccoli was sauteed in regular olive oil. (Extra virgin not necessary). I'd also add some garlic. This sounds so nice on a cold day.
As a lover of all things vintage, I write about our cottage home, inspirational decorating, vintage finds, thrifty buys, and old-time recipes. I have many additional interests such as reading, writing, blogging, arts and crafts, and quilting...I write about these interests as well as about family, friends, shelties, nature and hobbies.
Today! Thanks.
