Yup, this is the french dressing my mother taught me to make as a child. It used to be that everyone made their own dressing. Now a days, I'm the only person I know who makes dressing. But I leave the garlic in the jar. :-)
Poking my head out of my writing cave for a few moments. This sounds delicious. Do you know you can substitute chicken broth for 1/4 cup of the oil without sacrificing flavor to save calories? Not that you need to worry about that.
As a lover of all things vintage, I write about our cottage home, inspirational decorating, vintage finds, thrifty buys, and old-time recipes. I have many additional interests such as reading, writing, blogging, arts and crafts, and quilting...I write about these interests as well as about family, friends, shelties, nature and hobbies.
