Interesting soup. Might have to give it a try since I'm a "poor man" these days :)
ReplyDelete1 cup of flour? More like a sauce. Cook some onion in bacon fat and add to the soup.
ReplyDeleteRivel Soup is an old Amish or Mennonite dish I believe. I think they sometimes even eat in in just plain milk. I read about it in a Marcia Adams Cookbook. (Can you tell I love recipes too?)
