I agree with Sue, I'd also use more kernel corn and thicken it a bit by smoshing some of the potato. Also, fry a couple slices or good quality bacon, then saute the onions in bacon fat. What's chowder without a bit of bacon or salt pork? One bowl meal on a cold evening. YUM. I'll sautee some pumpkin for a side dish!
