    I have this recipe...except mine calls for lemon juice and not lemon flavoring. Fun as always!

    Mmmmmm... ya know... I just LOVE Grandma's old recipe's! I have a cook book of my grandmother's that was a church cookbook -- and some of the recipe's are hysterical! NO measurements of any kind! Just a bit of this, a dash of that, a pinch or two if you prefer! But those women understood each other! :) This was a great ruby!

    I make a similiar cake that was my grandmother's recipe. It is a family favorite.
