Hi Judy! So happy you stopped by! I do remember those cookies and also all the baked goodies from Roberg's Bakery! Mom baked a lot but also visited Roberg's just about every day! Oh those yummy doughnuts and jelly Bismarcks. I can taste them still!
Laurie, Good luck with the cabbage roles! I've had Bob's Cabbage Rolls and they were/will be wonderful! Let me know how they turn out! Have fun! Coralie
Hi Coralie,
ReplyDeleteThe header is so cool, and so are your recipes.
I think I have to check out the fruit- salat- dressing.
This is the perfect recipe for me: 4 ingredients! This blog is going to be so much fun, and the picture in your header is perfect too!
ReplyDeleteThis one sounds yummy. Will give it a try!
ReplyDeleteBLessings!

Coralie, congratulations on your new blog! Vintage recipes is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteHi, I love this blog. Do you remember the anise-flavored cookies that Baker's store used to carry? If you have a recipe, I'd love to have it. Thx.

Jello salads always grossed me out as a kid, but this would make an easy dessert (without the mayo). Great blog.

Is this Mrs. Truman of first lady Truman? I wonder. I have a wonderful old book of recipes from Mrs. Hatfield--wife of Senator Hatfield from Oregon.
ReplyDeleteLovely!
Beth, Yes, this is Mrs. Truman, the First Lady!
ReplyDeleteCoralie, I just love these older recipes. I especially like that you include the original recipe cards. SO NEAT!
